On holiday in Melbourne

After arriving on holiday in Melbourne, these pre-intermediate 2 students quickly found their accommodation. They then experienced Melbourne as tourists, asking for recommendations for good cafes, directions to the post office to send a postcard, along with shopping for some holiday products and finding the best and worst dressed mannequins!

Pre Intermediate 4 excursion to Melbourne Central

Hi everyone,

Once again, our Embassy students have shown us what they can do and what they can do is AWESOME!!!

Here are videos of Pre-intermediate 4 students putting their heart and soul into their projects.

They had the chance to practise their English during the regular week 12 excursion. Some of the language they practised include asking for directions, asking polite questions, finding out where people are from and getting more information about different countries. They also compared their abilities to practise the use of comparatives and superlatives. On top of that, these fantastic students took us on a mini tour around Melbourne Central shopping centre.

First up, we have got Chidcanok, Jia xu, Abdullah and our very own Ready Eddie. 

Next, we have the lovely couple Touyer and Kinnalone along with Yuichiro and Khaled. Check out their awesome visual effects.

Last but not least, we have Mohammed, Izuru and Daniel who put in a lot of work into editing their video. 

Great job Pre - Intermediate 4!!! You have made us proud!!

Practising Prepositions

Pre - intermediate 3 and 4 students gave a tour of Embassy English school. All the tours were fantastic. They even got to practise the use of prepositions.

The last but certainly not the least, Keiko, Nen and Shunichi were great. Their video was the longest. It was a complete tour of Embassy English Melbourne.

Pre-Intermediate 6 Excursion-Street Art June 2016

Pre-Intermediate 6 students went around some of the streets in Melbourne CBD to look at the Street Art.
 

Students asked passers-by what they thought of the Street Art in Melbourne.
They also reported what they heard using Reported Speech.

Pre-intermediate 2 explore Melbourne Museum!

Among other tasks, students visited the Melbourne Gallery to find the famous Luna Park moon seat and the Human Body Gallery to measure their nerve speed!

Pre-Int 1 - Melbourne Holiday Scavenger Hunt!

We sent Pre-Int 5 to the GPO to practise the English that they've learnt over the past 12 weeks!

We gave them a list of challenges and a time limit...

They had 1.5 hours to complete as many tasks as they could!

Pre-Int 3 & 5 CBD SCAVENGER HUNT!!!

We sent pre-intermediate 3 & 5 into the CBD to chat to some locals and win the game!!!

They were given a list of tasks and a time limit...

...they had one and a half hours to score as many points as they could, before meeting in Churchill Square.
